Thieves risk lives to steal copper wire

Sometime between Monday afternoon and yesterday morning, April 17, 2008, an FPL substation on east SR 206 in the vicinity of the Moses Creek Conservation Area, was burglarized causing about $1,500.00 in damage and resulting in the theft of about $1,000.00 worth of copper wire according to an incident report filed yesterday by Deputy Justin Anderson. Sea Turtle Homecoming Festival

The 2nd Annual St. Johns County Sea Turtle Homecoming Festival has been announced for Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the SJC Ocean Pier Pavilion in St. Augustine Beach. The event is hosted by the Keepers of the Coast.
St. Johns County Waste Management is hosting the Annual Turtle Town Beach Cleanup from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at the Pier Parking Lot. Read more
