Arrest linked to eighteen car burglaries

An 18-year old Duval County man was arrested on one count each of burglary to a vehicle and grand theft this morning and is allegedly involved in at least 17 additional car burglaries that occurred earlier this week in the northwest part of the county. Read more
Cornell Road closure

According to a news release from the St. Johns County Office of Public Affairs, effective Wednesday, May 14, Cornell Road will be closed between Shore Drive and Dartmouth Road to allow the St. Johns County Road and Bridge Department to replace a cross culvert on Cornell Road. Read more
WFOY commentator: fugitive from justice

51 year old Richard Lester Senninger was arrested yesterday and booked in the St. Johns County jail — facing charges that he is a fugitive from justice in Michigan for larceny and theft.
Senninger is better known as “Rick Wright”, a conservative political commentator who features several regular contributors on the program “Outside the Wire” on WFOY 1240 radio in St. Augustine. Read more
