Sexual predator moves to county

Kevin Kelshaw, Media Relations Officer for the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, has informed Historic City News that Justin Erin McDowell is now living at 2391 U.S. 1 South, Lot #20, in St Augustine. In accordance with 775.21 F.S., this news release serves as public notification that the Sheriff’s Office has been given information that a sexual predator is residing within St. Johns County.
McDowell is described as a white male, 25 years old, 5’11” tall, 165 pounds, has brown hair and hazel eyes.
McDowell was convicted on a charge of sexual battery by a juvenile on a child under the age of 12 and was sentenced to nine years in prison in January 2002. The incident occurred in April of 2000 in Osceola County and McDowell was placed on sexual predator probation until July 2023.
McDowell is registered as a Sexual Predator pursuant to Section 775.21 F.S.
