Vilano Beach Sunset Celebration

August 29, 2012 | By More

Historic City News readers are invited to see a spectacular St Augustine sunset, cast from across the bay at the Vilano Beach Pier this Saturday, September 1, 2012, when dozens of market vendors and Town Center businesses get together for this month’s First Saturday celebration.

Admission to this special event from 3:00 p.m. until dusk, is free and includes music, artistic performers, local artists, unusual and unique crafts, and genuine Old Florida surprises.

Come by boat, bicycle, and vehicle or on foot to enjoy the camaraderie and unique wares and talents of area artisans and musicians on the Pier at sunset.

Dine on food samples from businesses along Vilano Road and see why Vilano Beach is the best-kept hidden treasure in the county.

Floating docks near the pier allow for waterway transport from the mainland to the island – just as in the early Flagler days.
