Visitation, funeral and gravesite rites for Sheriff Perry

The family of former St Johns County Sheriff Neil J Perry will receive visitors Wednesday, June 27 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Craig Funeral Home in St Augustine, according to an announcement received by Historic City News.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, at Flagler Memorial Presbyterian Church located at 36 Sevilla Street in St Augustine with Rev. Dr. Dudley Weaver, Pastor officiating.

According to St Augustine Police Department spokesman Mark Samson, from 8:00 a.m. until noon, traffic and parking from Cordova Street west to Malaga Street and from King Street north to Carrera Street, will be very congested.

Graveside services will follow at Craig Memorial Park located on Old Moultrie Road; with full military and law enforcement honors as well as Masonic Rites.

A reception will follow graveside services at the Riverview Club of St Augustine Shores, located at 790 Cristina Drive.

Flowers will be accepted, or a memorial contribution can be made to the Florida Sheriff’s Youth Ranches, PO Box 2000, Boys Ranch, FL 32064, or the Florida Youth Challenge Academy, 5629 SR 16 West, Bldg 3800, Starke FL 32091.
