Historic City News was notified that St Augustine Police Department Commander, T. Michele Perry, is one of 35 criminal justice professionals who graduated today from the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute’s Senior Leadership Program at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement headquarters in Tallahassee.
Perry was the only officer in the 16th graduating class from a law enforcement agency located in St Augustine or St Johns County.

The Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute, established within the FDLE and affiliated with the State University System, was established in 1990 by the Florida Legislature in recognition of the need for an innovative and multifaceted approach to the education and training of criminal justice professionals.
