Teller machine stolen from hotel hallway

400-PVB-ATM-THIEF-3Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw informed Historic City News local reporters that an ATM machine installed in a hallway near the elevators on the first floor of the Hilton Garden Inn in Ponte Vedra Beach was stolen on Sunday afternoon.

The missing teller machine was discovered Monday morning by a hotel employee; the Sheriff’s Office was notified, and the surveillance video was retrieved.

“The man who committed this theft walked into the front doors of the hotel at 3:27 p.m. Sunday and proceeded toward the area of the elevators,” Kelshaw reported to Historic City News. “He is seen removing the ATM using a dolly which he brought in through the pool door.”

A female witnessed the theft and may know details about the crime; she is seen holding the pool door open on the surveillance video.

The thief is described as a white male, 5’10” with brown hair and he was wearing a dark long sleeve shirt, jeans and white sneakers.

The female is described as a white female, 5’4” tall with brown hair and she was wearing a white long sleeve jacket, pink jeans and white shoes.
