Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the general meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party, this Tuesday, March 25th, starting at 6:30 p.m. when this month’s speaker will be William Korach, First Vice President of the St Johns County Republican Party and publisher of The Report Card.
Recently, Korach completed a history textbook, “Rock of the Republic, a study guide, Islam-Biased Content in Florida’s K-12 Textbooks”.
“America’s great heritage is no longer being taught in America’s schools,” Korach said. “Our children’s ignorance of American history is a threat to national security.”
The topic for Korach’s presentation will be the rise and fall of the Common Core Standard.
Korach says that his mission is to help reform and fix the erosion of the teaching of American values and exceptionalism in the public schools. Tea Party chairman Lance Thate promises to host an informative evening.
If you plan to attend, the meeting is held at the Village Inn, located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St Augustine. There is no admission charge for members or guests.
