St Augustine City Commission and Mayor candidate forum

400-MERWYN-GALIMOREHear from eight candidates running for two open City of St. Augustine, Florida seats. Rhey Palmer, President of the Neighborhood Council was the moderator for the forum.

“We have great candidates. Thank you for coming to the forum here in Lincolnville and sharing your positions,” said Merwin. “Thank you to the Neighborhood Council of St. Augustine for coming up with six great questions and for all the hard work setting up the forum. It is such a pleasure to live in a country with free elections.”

2014 Election Dates — Polls Open 7 AM — 7 PM.

Primary Election: August 26, 2014.
General Election: November 4, 2014.

Seat 3, the two-year-term city commission seat pre-designated as
“mayor” includes three candidates: incumbent mayor, Joe Boles;
Ken Bryan; and Nancy Shaver.

Seat 4, a regular four-year-term seat, surrendered in mid-term by Bill Leary, and temporarily being filled by Donald Crichlow, has three candidates: Ron Berben, Todd Neville, and John Valdes.
