Historic City News has been informed that on Saturday, October 10, 2008, 6:30 pm at The Alligator Farm, EPIC community services will celebrate their 35th anniversary with a spectacular 1970’s show — Crocodile Rock; hosted by Sheriff David “Elton John” Shoar.

The contestant who raises the most money and survives our judge’s comments will be named “Vinyl Idol”!

Come hear our Idol contestants sing songs from 1973 (such as Crocodile Rock, Bad Bad Leroy Brown, Let’s Get it On, Ramblin’ Man, You’re so Vain, Superstition, midnight Train to Georgia)

Celebrity Look-a-Like Contest
Ever been told you look like Elton John? Diana Ross? Radar O’Reilly? Sonny & Cher? Gladys Knight & the Pips? Kojak? Mary Tyler Moore? Richard M. Nixon? Elvis? ‘The cast of MASH’? Tony Orlando & Dawn? Guests must be 21 and over. All proceeds benefit EPIC Community Services.
