Le Cafe celebrates it’s grand opening opening this week so we thought we’d go check it out.
Located at 415 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, Roland M. Ferreol has given a complete facelift to Le Cafe and is offering some distinctive new menu items for breakfast and lunch dining.
Opening at 7:30 each morning and closing at 5:00 each evening six days a week (closed Sunday) Le Cafe suggests three special breakfasts including The Original Slam, French Breakfast and Le Breakfast priced from $5.00 – $6.00. Morning guests can also order pancakes, Belgian Waffles, “Real” French toast and a combination of several egg and cheese sandwiches with bacon or ham.
In keeping with the French theme, Le Cafe also features several three egg omelettes; ham and cheddar, ham and swiss, turkey and swiss as well as spinach and provolone which range in price from $4.50 – $6.00.
Some everyday specials include homemade quiche Loraine or spinach quiche by the slice, ham or turkey served on French croissant or spinach and provolone cheese. Garden and chef salads are available as well as chicken or three cheese panini pressed on focaccia roll bread.
For lunch, you can try French dip, club sanwich or hot dog.
A kids menu, deserts and drinks are available.
My favorite will be the Working Cow Ice Cream.
As the dust settles and Ferreol applies the “final touches” we’ll be back for samples of what promises to be a fun and easy location for a taste of something different.
