In accordance with Florida State Statute 775.21, this news release will serve as public notification that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has been given information that a person judged to be a sexual predator is now residing within St. Johns County.
The name of the sexual predator is Jimmy Osmond Stavely.
He is living at 5101 Big Oak Rd. South. Stavely is a white male, 48 years old, 6â€™ tall, 235 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.
Stavely was convicted on a charge of lewd and lascivious on a child under the age of 16 and was sentenced to six years in prison in October 1998.
The incident occurred in May of 1994 in Duval County and he was released from prison in July 2001.
He moved into St. Johns County on 05 August and is registered as a Sexual Predator pursuant to Section 775.21 F.S.
