The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach will showcase the works of regional painter Russ Wilson, and sculptural artist Jerry Hallan. Wilson’s realistic interpretations of life and places in the South draw the viewer into his paintings. Hallan’s large scale sculptural pieces are a fun representation of wildlife in Florida. With Linda Brandt’s instruction, you’ll be drawing, not just reading about a bunch of confusing theories. You will learn: Easy and useful tips for blending, shading, perspective, the human figure and more techniques to help you create realistic drawings and demonstrations to show you how to put your ideas all together and into finished drawings. River House would like to make art accessible to seniors regardless of income limitations. With the support of the St. Johns County Cultural Council serving St. Johns County, and the State of the Arts License Plate Program, we are proud to offer scholarships for two students to this class.
