Two absconders identified in Operation Landshark

The Sheriff’s Office reported to Historic City News that they are attempting to locate two sexual offenders whose last reported address was within St Johns County; however when officers attempted to contact them during a recent multi-agency operation, they could not be found.

The purpose of last week’s “Operation Landshark”, was to make contact with every sexual offender and predator in St. Johns County to verify that they are physically residing at their registered address.

Teams of officers from the US Marshal Service, Florida Department of Corrections – Parole and Probation Office, and sheriff’s deputies completed 229 compliance checks of St Augustine and St Johns County sexual offenders and predators.

The two absconders who were unable to be located at their registered address are:

Eddie Angel Lopez
