Request for Franchise Applications for the Operation of Animal-Drawn Carriages

The City of St. Augustine hereby requests, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2011-01, that interested applicants submit a Franchise Application for the issuance of a Franchise Agreement with respect to the commercial operation of animal-drawn carriages within the City of St Augustine.

Submittals will be received until 4:00 PM EDT, Monday May 16, 2011, at the City Manager’s Office, 4th Floor, Lobby C, City Hall, 75 King Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084. No facsimile submittals will be accepted. Submittals received after the time and date for receipt above will be returned unopened. The Franchise Application shall be mailed or delivered in person to:

The City also reserves the right to award a franchise agreement on such terms as the City deems will best serve its interests.
