The Christian Men’s Ministry and St. Paul AME Church would like to invite the senior citizen community to our Bi-Annual Senior Citizen Appreciation Day scheduled for April 7, 2012 at the Solomon Calhoun Center 1300 Duval Street St. Augustine, FL 32084 11:00am-2:00pm. The last event was held in the fall of 2011 and continued to be a huge success. Approximately 250 senior residents attended the event and were very appreciative of the recognition of their value to our community. The purpose is simply to say “Thank You” by providing a free meal (fish, shrimp and barbeque chicken), entertainment and acknowledgement of the contributions of our elders in this community.
The sponsors for the spring 2012 event are Christian Men’s Ministry, St. Paul AME Church, Pastors United, Interim Home Health Care, VITAS Innovative Health Care and Ken’s Corner Store.
Please call St. Paul AME Church between the hour of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM to RSVP for this free event. The phone number is 904 829-3918.

A United Negro College Fund Scholarship Forum will be held on April 14, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. The forum will be held at St. Augustine High School for graduating seniors in need of scholarship funds and interested juniors. The forum is sponsored by St. Paul School of Excellence. Please RSVP at 904 829-3918.
