Tuesday, January 3 @ 10 am – Empowerment is key! Find out if your information is safe on the Internet. What is proper online etiquette? What can you do about spam in your email and pop-up ads while you are online? J.A.A.M. (Japanese Anime at Main)
Monday, January 9 @ 5 pm – Tweens, teens, and young twenty-something’s are invited to the monthly meeting of our anime club. We’ll be viewing assorted Anime & enjoying Japanese candy. Feel free to wear a costume if you’d like and JAAM with us!

Email Class

Family Event: Teddy Bear Sleepover
Tuesday, January 10 @ 6 pm – Bring your teddy bear or other stuffed friend to our super-sweet Teddy Bear Sleepover Party! We’ll tell stories, share fun crafts, have a bedtime snack, and tuck our little friends into bed for
a sleepover at the library. Pick up your friend a couple of days later after the sleepover fun is done, along with a special souvenir!

Middle Eastern Dancing Class

Health Seminar: COPD
Wednesday, January 18 @ 10 am – A professional from Amedisys Home Health will present a quality-of-life health seminar on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), one of the most common lung diseases. Nutritional Cleansing for Weight Loss
Thursday, January 19 @ 2 pm – Dr. Gloria Moore with The Foundation for Wellness Professionals will present a health seminar on weight loss. Utilizing a simple, proven and effective nutritional cleansing system is one method to help remove some of the impurities that enter our bodies, which can lead to weight gain. Writer’s Workshop: Setting the Scene

Miyazaki Film Festival for Tweens & Teens

Tween and Teen Anime enthusiasts are invited to celebrate the birth month of Japanese manga artist and prominent animator, Hayao Miyazaki. Miyazaki is a maker of popular animated feature films, and is known as the “Japanese Walt Disney.” We will be featuring five of his best known films over the course of this three-day festival. Adult BINGO for Books

Signing Time

RELAX with Raindrop Therapy
