After-School Crafts with Teens
Wednesday, January 4 @ 4-5 pm – All elementary-aged children, K-5th grade, are invited to make fun crafts with the teens of Nease High School’s Arts in Motion Club! All materials are provided, no registration needed, and it’s FREE!

Teen Gaming Night
Wednesday, January 4 @ 5-7 pm – Have fun with your friends at the library and play E and T-rated games on our PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, and X-Box 360 set up on three TVs for simultaneous playing! Snacks will be served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, GameStop, and PlayStation. Call 904-827-6950 for details!

Computer & Internet Basics
Thursday, January 5 @ 10:30 am-noon – Learn how to use a mouse, open & close programs, use Windows, access and navigate the Internet, and basic searching. No experience necessary. To sign up for this class, please call 904-827-6950.

Teens Read with Kids
Saturday, January 7 @ 10 am-12 pm – Drop into the children’s department to read to or be read to by a teen! The teens of Ponte Vedra High School’s Book Club would love to share a book with you! All ages of children are welcome!

LEGO Club for Tweens
Wednesday, January 11 @ 4-5 pm – Join our LEGO Club at the Library! Come on out and bring your friends for an afternoon of fun building with Legos and hanging out at the library. No registration and it’s free!

Adventures in Art
Tuesday, January 17 @ 6:30 pm – Join local artist Jan Bialka for a presentation on The Influence of Japanese Woodcuts on the Impressionists. Sponsored by FOCUS Cummer and the Friends of the Library. This program is free and open to the public.

Book Club

Family Game Time
Wednesday, January 25 @ 3-6 pm – The whole family is invited to the library to play board games! Just use your library card or driver’s license to check out a board game or two and play anywhere in the library. These games are for a variety of ages – includes Monopoly, Scrabble, Chutes and Ladders, Uno, and many more. Challenge your family and friends to your favorite games! Computer Class: Free e-Books for your Kindle
Thursday, January 26 @ 11 am-noon – Learn how to download free e-Books from the library’s website to your Kindle. No experience necessary. Please bring your Kindle to class. To sign up for this class, please call 904-827-6950.

Just for Babies
Tuesdays, January, 3 & 17 @ 10:15 am – For babies birth-15 months and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed for one-on-one interaction between caregiver and baby.

Family Storytime
Tuesdays, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 @ 11 am – This storytime is aimed at children 16 months-5 years and their families, though no child will be turned away! Families with a baby and older siblings are encouraged to come to Family Storytime.
