Old City Web Services, Inc., announced to Historic City News yesterday that Cecile Nusbaum has been named as their new official President and CEO.
During a Thursday morning team meeting at her web design studio and advertising agency, the St Augustine native, businesswoman and community activist shared the exciting news; as she laid out her goals for the next three and five years.
“I have big plans for Old City,” Nusbaum told reporters. “I am committed to providing traditional, digital and social e-business solutions while opening the doors to the Nation’s Oldest City.”
After working as the Director of Customer Experience for Auglink Communications, a local technology company and Internet Service Provider, Nusbaum joined Old City in June 2005 — she has been in charge of sales, accounting and office management ever since.
Ms. Nusbaum spends much of her time promoting her beloved city and it is evident in every facet of her life. Her community involvement includes Fort Mose Board of Directors, volunteer at Trinity Episcopal Church, sponsor and supporter for multiple non-profit organizations such as Red Cross and she is an active chamber member.
The enthusiasm for the announcement shown by her employees was shared by one of her clients:
“When deciding to update my laboratory website, I asked for suggestions from several of my clients on their designers and web providers. One company stood out for their outstanding design and customer service references; Old City Web Services,” said Laurel Mason, owner of Analytic Forensic Associates in Atlanta. “After my first telephone call with Cecile Nusbaum, I was sure of my decision selecting Old City.”
For over a decade, Old City has helped small, medium and large businesses around Northeast Florida, and across the country, with their web and marketing needs. Nusbaum told Historic City News that the levels of customer service that she brings to her clients, far outweighs the norm. Nusbaum says her entrepreneurial spirit and versatile expertise leverage countless opportunities for this old, yet innovative, boutique firm.
“It’s time to start executing our new objectives and educating the community on the latest technology trends.”
