The St Johns County School District has invited Historic City News readers to attend two upcoming Town Hall meetings scheduled to discuss potential zoning changes for the two new K-8 schools currently under construction and slated to open for the 2014-2015 school year.
The meetings will take place at Creekside High School, located at 100 Knights Lane, on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. and at Nease High School, located at 10550 Ray Road, on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m.
“Parents and other interested parties are encouraged to attend the Town Hall meetings so that they can hear the various proposals firsthand and express their opinions,” Tim Forson, deputy superintendent for Operations, told Historic City News reporters.
The new schools are identified as:
K-8 School “HH” is located at 475 Longleaf Pine Parkway, St Johns, FL 32259.
