Suspended driver with open container released on $5,000 bond.

A 53-year-old St Johns County man was arrested Tuesday night, charged with felony narcotics possession, according to a report filed with Historic City News by Deputy Corey Livingston.

Robert George Kirchhoff of 112 Captains Pointe Circle, was pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign.

Kirchhoff was discovered to have a suspended driver’s license and had an open container of alcohol visible.

Upon further searching, suspected cocaine was found in two locations within the vehicle.

Kirchhoff was arrested and booked into St Johns County Jail and also issued a citation for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving while license is suspended.

Kirchhoff was released today after posting a $5,500.00 bond.
