Tea Party speaker advocates plan for economic revival

Historic City News readers are patriotically invited to attend the General meeting of the Saint Augustine Tea Party on Tuesday evening, September 8th at 6:30 p.m.

“I Am American.org” co-founder and FairTax Patriot, Louis Marin, will be the guest speaker. He is a highly decorated U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer and Gulf War Veteran, is a grassroots expert, motivator and advocate for Article Five. The mission of his organization is to unite all Americans who are willing to put aside their partisan differences in order to prevent national bankruptcy and revive the economy.

“It is our hope that the constitutional power to propose and ratify amendments, granted to state legislatures under Article V, will be used to save the American dream for future generations,” Marin told reporters this week. “State legislators, under pressure from concerned citizens, can act now to reign in Washington; or, can stand idly by and watch while our prosperity and liberty are destroyed.”

The meeting will be held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Blvd. in St. Augustine.

According to Marin, the federal government has become hopelessly corrupt, and must be constitutionally reformed or Washington will succeed in destroying the greatest economy the world has ever known.

The meeting and presentation are open to members and guests, without charge, and you are welcome to bring a friend.
