Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A – Vilano Beach to Ponte Vedra Beach
Nighttime moving lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Carcaba Road in Vilano Beach to Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra Beach to install rumble stripes.
A1A – San Marco Avenue/Castillo Drive/Avenida Menendez
Daytime road closures Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to noon from Orange Street to Cathedral Place and on Cordova Street for the Festival of Chariots parade.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
Nighttime lane closures Sunday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. from south of Old St. Augustine Road to north of County Road 210 to place asphalt for the State Road 9B project.
Nighttime lane closures Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. three miles north of State Road 16 for routine bridge maintenance.
State Road 13
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Fruit Cove Road to Race Track Road for asphalt maintenance.
State Road 16
Daytime shoulder closure Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. five miles east of State Road 13 for routine bridge maintenance.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Lewis Speedway to Collins Avenue to trim brush from the sidewalk.
U.S. 1/Philips Highway
Daytime lane closures Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from south of State Road 9B to the St. Johns County line for the Philips Highway/U.S. 1 resurfacing project.
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Old St. Augustine Road to a mile south of 9B for signal installations for the State Road 9B project.
