St Augustine Flash mob organizing

Executive Director Nancy Bloch reported to Historic City News that high school students of the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in St Augustine traveled to Tallahassee today as part of activities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Day at the Capitol, sponsored by the Florida Association of the Deaf.

Local, state and federal law enforcement officials reported to Historic City News that they began executing 54 search warrants and 57 arrest warrants yesterday against participants in the Allied Veterans of the World conspiracy; in 23 Florida counties and five additional states — as of 1:00 p.m. today, 49 have been arrested.
Historic City News has obtained the charging affidavit from the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office that lays out the evidence gathered in a four-year investigation of an organized $300 million conspiracy orchestrated by Allied Veterans of the World that led to arrests and charges against 57 individuals for their roles.

Lieutenant Gov. Jennifer Carroll resigned Tuesday, two days after being interviewed by Florida Law Enforcement officers about her involvement with Allied Veterans of the World, the Florida Times-Union reports.
