Bomb scare turns out to be lawyers trial bag
A lawyer’s trial bag was left suspiciously along a sidewalk just outside the St Johns County Courthouse this morning, caused Historic City News editor Michael Gold, and other reporters attending the McIntosh sentencing to be detained at a safe distance while the item was cleared.

Saturday funeral may cause traffic congestion
Communications Coordinator Gia M Reynolds cautioned Historic City News readers that tomorrow’s funeral services for St Johns County Fire Rescue Captain Kenneth J Krulish, Jr., will likely result in heavy traffic and congestion along US-1 South in the area of the Ponce Mall.

Life without parole for McIntosh
In a sentencing hearing that began at about 10:30 a.m. and lasted about an hour, 32-year-old Michael Louis McIntosh was sentenced to life in prison — without the possibility of parole — by Circuit Court Judge Howard M. Maltz.
