In conjunction with the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s 14th annual Greek Festival on Saturday, October 8th, Historic City News has learned that there will be a fun run through downtown St. Augustine starting at 9:00 a.m. and concluding by 10:00 a.m.
The route will be immediately south of Francis Filed largely in the Flagler Model Land neighborhood area.
The race begins on Cordova Street between Francis Fields and the Historic Down Parking facility and continues south on Cordova St. west on Saragossa St., north on Riberia St. east on Orange St., and north on Cordova St. to the finish line.
Public Affairs Director Paul Williamson said that the route would be closed entire hour.
Historic City News readers are invited to come see why this festival is one of St Augustine’s largest annual community events. Savor the aromas and flavors of freshly prepared authentic Greek food and Pastries and enjoy costumed dancers performing to the music of a live Greek band.
Celebrate the Greek culture that is an integral part of St Augustine’s history.
