NATIVE AMERICAN CELEBRATION
Put your Thanksgiving weekend in perspective with this colorful celebration of Native American traditions. Featuring Jim Sawgrass and his nationally acclaimed dancers, drummers and storytellers, this unique event is sure to impress and entertain under the stars. The celebration takes place at 7 p.m. at the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, 11 Magnolia Avenue, in St. Augustine. Tickets are $15 adults, $5 for kids 12 and under. Seating is limited. THE POLAR EXPRESS AT IMAX THEATRE
See a great holiday story on the giant IMAX screen at the World Golf Hall of Fame! “The Polar Express” takes audiences along on a boy’s extraordinary journey to the North Pole with the train’s conductor (voice of Tom Hanks) where he receives a special gift only those who believe in Santa can experience. PALS AND PAWS DOG SHOW
It’s a dog lover’s a delight all weekend at the Pals and Paws Dog Show at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds located 7 miles west of I-95 on S.R. 207 in Elkton. For more information, call 904-262-3653.

UPTOWN SATURDAY NIGHT
Don’t miss Uptown Saturday Night from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Uptown San Marco Shopping District, St. Augustine. Galleries, antique stores and unique shops between Ripley’s Museum and the Mission of Nombre de Dios remain open during this special time. Meet the artists, book signings, live music, refreshments and other events contribute to the party-like atmosphere. The Mission of Nombre de Dios provides FREE PARKING for Uptown Saturday Night. Appetizers are provided by the Saint Augustine Independent Restaurant Association (SAiRA). ST. AUGUSTINE GARRISON AT FORT MOSE
Experience living history demonstrations conducted by authentic colonial Spanish re-enactors on the last Saturday of each month. This month’s presentation begins at 11 a.m. and includes a Colonial Thanksgiving featuring 18th century cooking demonstrations. Fort Mose is located at 15 Fort Mose Trail in St. Augustine. 43rd ANNUAL FALL ARTS & CRAFTS FESTIVAL
Enjoy more than 150 of the finest regional and national artists displaying jewelry, glass blowing, sculpture, woodwork, pottery, paintings, photography, textile batik and much more. Festival activities include Kids Art Zone, Cultural Displays, Artist Demos, Raffle Prizes and an Artist Paint Out. Entertainment will be provided by the Gamble Rogers Folk Festival with a line-up of popular local & regional performers. The art festival takes place at Francis Field behind the St. Augustine Downtown Historic Parking Facility located on West Castillo Drive in St. Augustine. The festival is sponsored by the St. Augustine Art Association and takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is a $1 donation. NOTE: St. Johns County residents with a valid ID are always admitted free of charge to Government House Museum, the Lightner Museum, the Colonial Spanish Quarter Museum, the Fountain of Youth (special events excluded), the Ximenez-Fatio House, the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, the Spanish Military Hospital Museum and the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum. The daily tours and wine tastings at the San Sebastian Winery are free to everyone. Also, admission is free to everyone at the Authentic Old Drug Store, Fort Matanzas National Monument, St. Photios Chapel, the Peña-Peck House and the Father Miguel O’Reilly Museum.
