Teachers aide arrested in child porn investigation

Dan Davis, City Clerk for the City of Bunnell, reported to Historic City News that a joint child pornography investigation by the Bunnell Police Department, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the office of the State Attorney for the 7th Judicial Circuit, has resulted in the arrest of a public school employee.

Just minutes ago, 38 year-old Daniel Joseph Biles, who resides at 209 North Palmetto Street in Bunnell, a teacher’s aide in the Flagler County School District, was taken into custody and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography.

Investigators working on the case were Officer Christopher Wolfe of the Bunnell PD, Investigator Kim Davis of the Flagler County Sheriff’s office and Investigator John Eckersen of the State Attorney’s office.

“The Bunnell Police Department is grateful for the assistance and support provided by the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the State Attorney’s office for a an expedient arrest in this case,” Davis told reporters.
