Cash McVay has invited Historic City News readers to pitch in and help the Lincolnville Community Garden this Sunday.
“We have made significant progress since our last update in building the Lincolnville Community Garden,” McVay said. “It’s been very inspiring to see our community come together to build this wonderful neighborhood project.”
McVay said that they are planning to meet Sunday 2/21, starting at 9:00 a.m. to create the “Edible Grove” portion of the garden.
“We should be done by 2:00 p.m., or so,” McVay said. “We’ll be planting lots of fruit trees and laying tree mulch.”
“If you have time to come out and help, please do so and bring a shovel and gloves. We could also use an extra wheelbarrow, or two,” said McVay. “We’re also going to be finishing up the foundation piers for the tool barn.”
Hope to see you this Sunday at the Lincolnville Community Garden.
