Jane Sims, publicist and performer of Tale Tellers of St. Augustine gave local news reporters and Historic City News readers a “heads up” that “Theater of the Mind: Storytelling” is coming soon to the San Marco Theatre.
Now in its twelfth year, “Theater of the Mind: Storytelling” is an annual series of storytelling programs featuring seasoned, performing members of Tale Tellers of St. Augustine.
On May 20th, “An Evening of Irish Tales & Tunes” features Backintyme, Frank & Mary Lee Sweet, and The Storytelling Sims; Wayne & Jane.
The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. at San Marco Theater in downtown St. Augustine.
San Marco Theater is located at 28 San Marco Avenue across from Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum. Free off-street parking is available in Ripley’s parking lot during the presentation.
Admission: $10 per person; group rates are available.

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine was founded in 1993 and is a non-profit organization of cultural and educational orientation; promoting the art and perpetuating the tradition of storytelling. Dedicated to community enrichment, the guild promotes the art of storytelling by sponsoring its members in performance.
Guests and new members are invited to attend meetings, 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday monthly — except July.
