Library Advisory Board
One (1) Vacancy

Purpose of Committee: An advisory committee created to advise the County on the establishment, operation and maintenance of free public library service within St. Johns County.

Qualifications: Seeking representation from County Commission District 1.

Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 9:30am with the meeting location rotating each month to a specific branch library.

Northwest Communications Tower Citizens Advisory Board
Two (2) Vacancies

Purpose of Committee: Review proposals for expenditure of income derived from the lease of Mills Field property.

Qualifications: Must reside in the portion of St. Johns County bounded on the east by the westerly right-of-way of I-95; bounded on the south by the northerly right-of-way of CR 210 (from I-95 to Greenbrier Road and its westerly extension (to the westerly boundary of St. Johns County); bounded on the west and north by the County line. Seeking Athletic Association Representative and District 1 Representative.

Meeting schedule: This Board meets semi-annually in the evenings in the Mills Field Office on Racetrack Road.

Ponte Vedra Architectural Review Committee
Three (3) Vacancies – 2 Regular & 1 Alternate Position

Purpose of Committee: Ensure enhanced property development while maintaining and encouraging quality character of design within the Ponte Vedra and Ponte Vedra/Palm Valley Overlay Districts in line with the goals and objectives of the St. Johns County Comprehensive Plan.

Qualifications: Seeking a regular member residing in the Coastal Corridor Overlay District and a regular member and an alternate member residing in the Ponte VedraZoning District. Members must be a registered voter in St. Johns County.

Meeting schedule: This Committee meets every 4th Wednesday of each month from 5-8:30pm in the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library.

Cultural Resource Review Board
Four (4) Vacancies

Purpose of Committee: Advise the Board of County Commissioners regarding cultural, architectural, archaeological and historical resources of St. Johns County; and to identify, evaluate, document, designate and protect these resources.

Qualifications: Seeking appointees qualified through the demonstration of special interest, experience or education in the preservation of the County’s cultural resources and those that have practical and professional experience in one or more of the following fields: archaeology, architecture, architectural history, curation or conservation, planning, professional engineering, real estate, history, historic preservation, or related disciplines. Seeking representation from County Commission District 1.

Meeting schedule: This Board meets the 1st Monday of each month at 3:30pm in the Board of County Commissioners Executive Conference Room, 500 San Sebastian View.

Recreation Advisory Board
Three (3) Vacancies

Purpose of Committee: An advisory committee that provides a sounding board for new ideas, assist in solving problems, act as liaison when called upon to other governmental bodies, represent the Recreation and Parks Department’s posture on sensitive issues in the public arena and to assist in the establishment and carrying out of goals and objectives and budget preparation to provide leisure time programs and facilities.

Qualifications: Seeking representation from County Commission Districts 1 & 3.

Meeting schedule: This Board meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 3:00pm in the Board of County Commissioners Executive Board Room, 500 San Sebastian View.
