Monica Reifeiss reported the following St. Augustine and St. Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
State Road 13: Possible daytime and nighttime lane closures at the Cunningham Creek Bridge as crews begin to make repairs to the roadway due to settlement.
Southbound lane closures are not allowed Monday through Thursday from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday. Northbound lane closures are not allowed Tuesday through Friday from 5:30 to 9:30 a.m. and from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 9:30 a.m. Monday.
The speed limit is reduced for an intersection improvement while a roundabout is constructed just north of Riverwalk Boulevard. State Road 206: No lane closures are scheduled at the Crescent Beach Bridge as work begins Thursday on the project to repair the mechanical and electrical components of the drawbridge
State Road 312: Nighttime lane closures from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. while crews work on the concrete surface of the bridge. Motorists should use caution while driving in the area as crews repair and repaint the bridge. Pedestrians are advised to avoid the eastbound bridge.
State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures after 8:30 a.m. between Mickler Road and Fairfield Boulevard while crews begin preparations for the resurfacing project. Also, daytime northbound lane closures between Corona and Solana roads from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for construction of a new sidewalk. Both of these projects begin Thursday.

US 1: The turn lane at San Sebastian View is closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday while the City of St. Augustine makes permanent repairs to a water line.
The intersections of Carrera and Malaga streets are closed for reconstruction. Both streets are accessible from King or Riberia streets. Nighttime lane closures from 7:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. at the San Sebastian River Bridge from Saragossa Street to King Street for the bridge replacement project.
