You’ve seen it in the movies, and read about it in the paper. But those things happen to others, not you, right? WRONG! Just think about the world we live in today, no one is immune to violence. Doesn’t it make sense to know how to be aware and also how to be prepared? Mr. Jose and Mr. Curtis, the instructors at Lion’s Den Karate will help you learn empty handed self-defense skills.
Instructor Jose L. Leno is a 22-year veteran of the Martial Arts. Mr. Jose has studied under world renowned masters to learn Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan Karate, Hung Gar Kung Fu, Yang style Tai Chi Chuan and Tang Soo Do. Mr. Jose’s goal is, “to help individuals reach their goals, not his.” He offers classes in Spanish and American Sign Language.
Instructor Curtis A. Romeo studied the style of Tang Soo Do since the age of 13. He holds the rank of third degree and has 12 + years of teaching experience. Mr. Curtis is an outstanding and vital member of Lion’s Den Karate and was specifically hand-picked by Mr. Jose for his dedication, hard work and ability to communicate and interact with young people.
