Darby L. Stubberfield, Director of Development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, has asked Historic City News readers to help the club being built in St. Augustine to win a grant from the Pepsi Refresh Grant project for $50,000 to purchase equipment and furnishings.
The only way for the THE PLAYERS Championship Boys & Girls Club to win their grant application is to get the most votes during the contest running now through the end of the month.
“I am happy to report that the grant has been accepted and is ready to begin receiving votes.” Stubberfield said. “So, please pass this along to your friends and family and ask them to cast their vote for the St. Augustine Boys & Girls Club.”

“All we need is to get within the top 10 and then we win,” Stubberfield said. “We have already moved up from 263rd to 113th. It is possible; we just need your help to get there!”
Stubberfield says that participants may vote once, every day, up until June 30th.
