FDOT road repairs and maintenance report

Laurie Sanderson reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.

Downtown St. Augustine: Nighttime lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday over the Bridge of Lions while the City of St. Augustine installs temporary lighting on the bridge.

Also, the Bridge of Lions and Avenida Menendez from the Castillo de San Marcos to King Street will be completely closed to motorists from 8:30-10:30 p.m. Thursday for the City of St. Augustine’s Fireworks over the Matanzas event.

International Golf Parkway: Daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday over I-95 for routine bridge maintenance.

Jellison Road: Daytime lane closures Monday and Tuesday at State Road A1A (just north of State Road 206) while crews install a drainage pipe and replace asphalt. Flaggers will control traffic on Jellison Road to and from State Road A1A.

State Road 16: Daytime lane closures and turn lane closures from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for sod deliveries, pipe construction, installation of detectable warning surfaces on sidewalk ramps and roadway resurfacing.

Also, nighttime lane closures from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. from Toms Road to San Marco Avenue for paving and for sidewalk and drainage repairs.

State Road 206: Daytime lane closures over the Crescent Beach Bridge from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. No total bridge closures with detours are scheduled until after Labor Day (September).

State Road 207: Daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from I-95 to U.S. 1.

State Road A1A: Daytime lane closures while crews install crosswalks and flashing pedestrian signals near the Guana River State Park and near the Matanzas Inlet.

Also, daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the Guana River State Park north parking lot to Mickler Road for tree limb removal.

Also, daytime lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Turtle Shores Drive in Ponte Vedra to the Guana River State Park north parking lot for tree trimming and sweeping along the bike lane.

Also, daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Lancaster Place to Escambia Street for installation of a drainage pipe and for cleaning ditches.

Also, daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to Avenida Menendez.

U.S. 1: Daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from International Golf Parkway to Pine Island Road in St. Augustine for shoulder repairs.

Also, daytime lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Datil Pepper Road to Moses Creek Boulevard for cleaning ditches.

Also, daytime lane closures while crews repaint the roadway markings from the Flagler County line to the Duval County line.
