Dear Editor:

Hi Just want to let your readers know there are scam calls out there.

I got a call this morning saying I had a federal government check for $9,300 due to me.

If I would supply them with my bank routing number or a credit card they would send it straight away.

I did get a phone number for someone named “Ashley Stevens” at 202-738-XXXX. I did call the number and determined it IS a scam. During my questioning of her, she hung up.
