Before their closing comments Monday night, the newly constituted City Commission in St Augustine will consider adoption of Resolution 2014-42, providing for the Operating Policies, Rules and Procedures of the City Commission.
The fairly lengthy document, not on the agenda for public comment, sets out the way the elected public officials will conduct their meetings.
It defines a number of minute details, like when the meetings will start, how long citizens may speak, and when and how long commissioners may speak. There is likely to be some discussion at the commission table before that resolution is rubber stamped.
