ACH and Local Arts Assessment Discussion
- As part of the Cultural Council’s Scope of Services with the TDC, the City of St. Augustine Vision Process, and the Division of Cultural Affairs Grant program, the Cultural Council invites comments and discussion and the short and long term needs of the arts culture and heritage constituency.
- This is intended to go beyond a discussion of physical facilities and address specific organizational development and capacity building that can be addressed through TDC support (tourism and outwardly directed) professional development, and DCA (local arts and inwardly directed) professional development.
- TDC support for Product Development and Program Event Quality that enhances the visitor experience. What the Council can do with TDC dollars.
- DCA support for volunteer and board development that strengthens organizational management. What the Council can do with DCA and locally raised dollars.
- How the COSA Vision Process can assist in the growth of the ACH Community.
The St Johns Cultural Council is a tax-exempt not-for-profit agency under agreement with the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners to provide destination marketing services to the county’s Tourist Development Council. Funding for marketing services comes from a portion of the county’s bed tax.
