Historic City News readers are reminded that, this year, Daylight Saving Time begins at 2:00 AM on Sunday, March 8, and ends at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 1.
Clocks spring forward one hour early Sunday morning, giving us an extra hour of light in the evening.
Clocks across most of North America started changing in unison in 1966, on the last Sunday of April and the last Sunday of October. Before then, various cities, towns and governments made their own call on when to fiddle with the time.
