Historic City News takes great pride in our ecological contribution as a paperless publication. To that end, we do not further burden overcrowded landfills nor do we contaminate the soil with printer’s ink.
We extend that “environmentally friendly” philosophy to the operation of our office, as well. For example, we do not have a fax machine, paper printer, or paper copier; instead we have a high-speed, dual-sided document scanner. All our documents are stored electronically — no filing cabinets, one recycle bin, and the satisfaction of knowing that we are being responsible corporate citizens.
After fifteen years, we are now closing our post office box. We have replaced virtually all of our paper correspondence with e-mail and social media messaging. We no longer mail letters, invoices, or paper checks to pay our bills. Everything is handled electronically through the Internet.
We occasionally receive courier deliveries and, yes, some other companies still insist on writing to us by snail mail. If you happen to have us on your mailing list or still send us printed correspondence, please update your information to reflect our street address — rather than our post office box.
Our contact information is:
Historic City Companies, Inc.
88 Riberia Street Suite 170
Saint Augustine FL 32084-4374

May we suggest you correspond with us by e-mail in the future? We would be delighted to accept paperless billing from our suppliers, and we encourage you to accept our payments by EFT, ACH, or other auto-pay methods. And, if we invoice you (which we already do electronically) we ask that you please pay your bill from us online at the link provided in the invoice.
We take needless deforestation seriously and hope you will, too.
