You are patriotically invited to attend our General meeting Tuesday evening, 6/23/15 at 6:30, held at the Village Inn located at 900 North Ponce de Leon Boulevard in St. Augustine. Our distinguished guest will be Jerry Cameron, Assistant County Administrator in St. Johns County, FL.
Jerry Cameron is presently the Assistant County Administrator with St. Johns County, a position in which he has served since 2006. Mr. Cameron has served as Police Chief in two jurisdictions, the last in Fernandina Beach where he also served as City Manager.
He is a graduate from the 150th Session of the FBI National Academy as well as the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Basic Drug Enforcement course and two Professional Enforcement Classes. As an Adjunct and full time faculty member of the Institute of Police Technology at the University of North Florida, he lectures on public sector budgeting, police ethics, body language, interviewing and interrogation techniques.
Mr. Cameron has always been an outspoken proponent of American principles and has spent more than twenty years studying the foundation of our country. We remember him for his reenactment of Patrick Henry’s famous ‘Call to Arms’ speech.
Tuesday evening Mr. Cameron will be speaking on the role of Christianity in the founding of our country. Please join us for a very informative evening. No admission charge, and open to the public. So bring a friend!
