Arrest comes in child pornography investigation

Historic City News was informed that a 73-year-old St. Johns County man was arrested on 15-counts of possession of child pornography last Thursday following the execution of a search warrant at his residence.

Allan Neil Conley who resides at 3372 Kings Road South, was booked into the County Jail and released the next day on home detention and GPS monitoring after posting $75,000 bond.

Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit began an undercover investigation last month which resulted in the alleged transmission of child pornography from the suspect’s computer. A search warrant was issued last Wednesday and that warrant was executed the following day.

Detectives seized a computer and assorted hard drives, some of which contained alleged child pornography images. At least 15 images were located. Additional charges are pending a full forensic search of the seized property.
