According to details received this week, the Department is planning drainage improvements along May Street; separate from the long awaited intersection improvements at San Marco Avenue.
“This will not only affect the traveling public, but also our neighborhood,” said resident Grant Misterly. “It would be beneficial for everyone to turn out to learn about the project and offer their thoughts.”
Although not involved in the design of the project, Misterly says that he has walked the site with engineers who are, and he has explained the challenges to them.
If you are planning to attend, the meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the meeting hall of the Church of the Nazarene; located on May Street.
