Debbie Delgado reported the following St Augustine and St Johns County locations to Historic City News where the Florida Department of Transportation will be conducting roadwork that is expected to have an impact on driving, beginning this morning and continuing through the coming week.
A1A – San Marco Avenue/South Castillo Drive
Daytime road closure Saturday from noon to 1 p.m. from Old Mission Avenue to Orange Street for the March for Life Saint Augustine walk.
A1A South
Nighttime lane closures weekdays from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Marshside Drive to Ocean Trace Road for installing electric poles.
County Road 2209
Lanes are reduced to one way in each direction from Russell Sampson Road to a mile north of County Road 210 for State Road 9B construction. Lane reductions will be in place for the duration of the project.
State Road 16
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Lewis Speedway to Woodlawn Drive for replacing electric poles.
State Road 207
Daytime lane closures Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. a ½ mile east of I-95 to install a turn lane into the new Treaty Oaks subdivision.
I-95
Nighttime southbound lane closure Wednesday from 9 – 10 p.m. at the County Road 210 exit ramp to install an overhead sign.
Daytime shoulder closures Saturday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from County Road 210 to U.S.1 for work on the Intelligent Transportation System (ITS).
Nighttime northbound detour Monday through Wednesday from midnight to 5 a.m. from County Road 210 to Old St. Augustine Road to install overhead signs for the State Road 9B project. The detour is County Road 210, Philips Highway and Old St. Augustine Road.
Nighttime northbound lane closures Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. and southbound lane closures Wednesday and Thursday from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. from north of the County Road 210 Rest Area to south of Old St. Augustine Road for State Road 9B construction.
