Nancy McAlum, Fundraiser Chairman for United Way of St. Johns County and Flagler Health Care Foundation, announced to Historic City News local reporters that, together with the City of St. Augustine, they are hosting “Treasures in the Quarter” this Saturday.

Treasures in the Quarter will be held October 2nd from 6:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.in the newly renovated Spanish Quarter downtown.
The event is a 1600-1750 theme event equipped with authentic pirates (furnished by Pat Croce, owner of the new Pirate Museum), live entertainers, live interactive Cigar Rolling Event provided by M. Mist’i Cigar Company. There will be music by The Company, a fantastic local band, dancing, wonderful “authentic” food provided by SAIRA (St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association), sangrias, specialty ales, wine and beer. We are also going to have ice sculptures where we will be serving our special recipe “Pirate Pat’s Punch”.
