County restores water and sewer to its utility customers

As of 8:00 p.m. Saturday night, Historic City News was informed that St Johns County Utility customers on Anastasia Island and the North Beaches, including Vilano Beach, South Ponte Vedra Beach, and Ponte Vedra Beach, have their water and sewer services restored.

Utility customers of the City of St Augustine are still without sewer service until power is restored to lift stations. Water is available from the City of St Augustine, subject to the previously announced boil notice.

Until further notice, County Utility customers located in these communities must boil water intended for consumption for a minimum of one minute. As an alternative, bottled water may be used.
