More than two dozen participants gathered for the regular Tuesday evening meeting of the St Augustine Tea Party; and Historic City News was invited to report.
The St. Augustine Tea Party is the result of the reformation of the original United American Tea Party.
The citizen group says they have new leadership and organization, but the same values based on:
-Constitutional Government
-Limited Government
-Fiscal Responsibility
Eric West, the chairman of the local group, told Historic City News, “We welcome like minded patriots looking to reassert their values into the government of the United States.”
Every Tuesday night the Tea Party members start their meeting at 6:30 p.m. and typically finish by 8:00 p.m. (or so) at the Village Inn in St. Augustine on Ponce de Leon Boulevard.
The St. Augustine Tea Party believes in Limited Constitutional Government
Lower Taxes and spending and the salvation of the free enterprise system in our country.
