County compile damage assessments

Damage Assessment Reports in St. Johns County:

The County is asking Historic City News to inform residents that if any property owner has property damage from Tropical Storm Fay, to please call the citizen hotline at 824-5550 to report the damage.

Information needed by the County includes property address, description of damage, contact phone number and estimated cost of damage.

    St. Johns County to Reduce Emergency Operations Center to Level 2

    St. Johns County will reduce the Emergency Operations Center on Friday evening to a Level 2, Partial Activation.

    Additional information:

    All shelters have been closed. Any resident with medical needs that are dependent upon electricity should call 824-5550 if they need assistance.

    St. Johns County will return to normal operations on Saturday.

    All Early Voting locations will be open.

    Household garbage normally scheduled for Thursday and Friday will be picked up on Saturday. All yard debris and recycling will be picked up next week on the normal collection schedule.

    All libraries will be open for normal hours Saturday.

    Parks and Recreation activities will return to normal.

    Animal Control will be operating on Saturday, but the Pet Center will be closed until Monday.
