Absentee ballots available

For your convenience, Vote by Mail, in the comfort of your home and avoid Election Day lines by contacting the Supervisor of Elections Office to request your absentee ballot TODAY!

The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot To Be Mailed is October 29, 2008 at 5:00p.m.

For voters who wish to pick-up their absentee ballot: Beginning Monday, October 6, 2008, absentee ballots will be available at any of the following five (5) locations:

Supervisor of Elections Office – St. Augustine
Ponte Vedra Annex
Julington Creek Annex/St. Johns County Service Center
*Southeast Branch Annex / Clerk’s Office
*Hastings Tax Collector’s Office
(*denotes new location)

Photo and signature identification is required.

Important: Voted absentee ballots will not be accepted at the polling locations on Election Day.

Voters may return absentee ballots to any local early voting site, annexes or the Supervisor of Elections Office.

Annexes will be accepting voted absentee ballots until close of business November 4, 2008.

The Supervisor of Elections Office will accept voted absentee ballots until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008.

Reminder, allow 3-5 days when returning absentee ballots by mail.
