Anastasia Mosquito Control District open house

According to an announcement received by Historic City News from Gina LeBlanc, the Anastasia Mosquito Control District has extended an invitation for the public to attend an open house in order to learn what services the district provides to St. Johns County and how the public can “fight the bite.”

The event will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 from 3:30 pm until 8:00 pm at the Anastasia Mosquito Control District base station facility located at 500 Old Beach Road.

Anastasia Mosquito Control District staff will provide a tour of the facility, hands-on activities for adults and children, refreshments, giveaways, special presentations, video presentation as well as on-site experts to provide information and to answer questions.
